Change.gov : Join the Discussion: Former Sen. Daschle responds on health care | Change.gov: The Obama-Biden Trans

My husband and I are small business owners and have to supply our own health insurance. Every year the premiums go up at least $100. We are now paying around $1000 a month! And this is with a "non-profit" insurance company. And still, we get push back from them for coverage of some drugs and preventative diagnostic tests. All of our "employees" are independent contractors and that's a good thing because we are having a hard enough time affording insurance for ourselves. Enough is enough! We work hard and make a decent living but we are always left out of any government relief programs, for example, the stimulus packages. We pay more than our fair share. Relief should be for all, not just the poor.
