Actually, JnC,it has quite a bit to do with the debate today. Soon our state Gov. will vote to re-define what a legal " marriage " is and in the process , of course, re-define WHO that new definition applies to. That's exactly what we are discussing. Marriage rights ,Marriage re-definition and who it can and should logically and rightfully include.
Now that we have redefined the terms and meanings of a " marriage " , then logically we shouldn't stop until we include everybody in any and all conceivable senarios, which would mean that any two or more willing and CONSENTING ADULTS should have the right to be married to each other no matter their sex , race, religion or physical relationship they might have to each other. To deny any adult for any reason should now be a violation of their legal and civil rights as a citizen of this state. Marriage rights are for everyone. Period. Anyone who would disagree with or deny these concenting adults their marriage rights would and should be concidered a bigot and hate monger.
