Breitbart.com : UK University to probe integrity of climate data

Your second paragraph is so on the money. The AGW arguement always gets muddied by assuming that if you disagree with climate change warming you also don't believe in environmental conservation and sound resource use practices. GW believers assume that if you are a skeptic, you are also driving down the road throwing your garbage out the window, and then stopping to discard old plastic oil containers into the lake. The sole hypothesis is whether CO2 impacts climate in a measurable way, causing a long term trend in warming and if so, are contributions from man-made sources are the driving force. So far what we have seen is very poor scientific methodologies and controls, much of which has been hidden from the public view. As you point out, water and air polution compared to the'70's is significantly better today, and there can always be improvements. We should be focused on total energy independence, (including nat. gas, coal, nuclear and renewable), clean water and desalination, and recycling where cost effective, as opposed to some cap and tax scam of trillions of dollars.

It seems that since the raw data sources are limited to a number of small "scientic "groups (NOAA and CRU) and then provided, after massaging, to other scientists outside for their analysis. If the data is flawed, scientist can reach the same conclusions. Not unlike providing doctors who are provided fudged blood test results to give a prognosis. They would come to the same conclusion, albeit wrong, due to info provided.

Read it and, although little tedious, well worth the factual info contained. That is where I first read about the 4 sources of raw data, 2 land based and 2 atmospheric. Very interesting as to what collusion could be involved with the 2 land based,, onoe maintaned by NOAA and the other, the CRU of EA .

Breitbart.com : Obama science advisers grilled over hacked e-mails

Not it is not you. I was kidding ! Irrespective of the scientific conclusions that may be ascertained by true " scientists" with sould scientific methodolgy, it is funny to read the denier of the skeptics' responses. It is like giving 10 doctors the same set of test results and asking for a prognosis (except House!). They would and should all come to the same conclusion. Hence given the same data (of which there are only two sources for ground NOAA and this one in collusion), there should be an uproar of questions. Thks.

OutOfBalance 70p · 1 hour ago I bet this was a stunt to promote a new reality TV show called "Who wants to be the President". On this show contestants play for a chance to be POTUS for 4 years. The great thing here is you really don't have to have any qualifications and no background checks are made. Winners also receive a complimentary Nobel Peace Prize and a chance to appear on next years new show "Dancin in the White House". Prizes and promotions are courtesy of the U.S. tax payers. ..............................>>>>> TOO FUNNY !! TOO SAD ?

Iheartmycountry 69p · 5 hours ago My God, this country is in so much trouble. Can we get it back? This is what's important to Congress? Vote these imbeciles out in 2010. You know, I've always wondered about 3-termers and beyond; do they stay because they can cut it in the real world? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know you meant can't cut it in the real world... What we need is a congressman who proposes moving up the 2010 congrssional elections by 8-9 months say March and the presidential election to November of 2010. That would helpthis country immensely,

Probably not unlike the '20's and '30's with Bonnie and Clyde, Dillinger, and Al Capone. Looking for that mystique from their peers et al. Given also the culture of Rap music and gangs, regardless of how prevalent it may be, it does, perhaps, lead to a ' that's what I want to be' mentality. Although I don't condone it,I actually think these people feel they are helping, similar to tax advisors. Look at Charlie Rangel and then ask why isn't he fired?
