A common mistake when listing the elements of SMART goals is to mix up the A and the R. In this case Attainable and Realistic are redundant.

If the author intends the A to be Achievable, then the R should be Relevant, like the original SMART goals.

If the author intends the R to be Realistic, then the A should be Applicable.

Creating goals that are relevant or applicable to your purpose and vision may be the key to success.
