While I appreciate the content of your comment I believe you may have missed the point of the article. At no point in time did I claim "SEC teams to be biased." I claimed ESPN was. Also I left out Georgia and South Carolina on purpose, as their fans don't tend to praise the SEC as their own personal savior for their losses. Georgia is good, on occasion very good, but on the same occasion very bad. 2011 they lost 4 games, '10 they lost 7 games, '09 - 5, '06-4. I don't consider 3 loss seasons great either but I left those out for the sake of arguent. S.C. lost 5 in '10, 6 in '07, '08 & '09, 5 in '06 and I'm not going to look much further. While yes they "play in the SEC" they are by no means doing the bulk of the winning for that conference. You're talking last year, I'm talking 10 plus years.

All that being said, that's not even the point of the article. The point of the article is how ridiculous it is for fans of teams who are handed their ass year after year to praise themselves for simply being in the conference. I don't care if you're in the SEC, Big Ten, MAC, or Mountain West, winning all your games is an accomplishment.

Losing most of them is NEVER an accomplishment.

East... coast... bias? I know this may be new technology to you, but have you checked a map as to how far east Columbus or Ann Arbor is compared to Knoxville? Also Michigan only has 3 Heisman winners, not some huge number. Not that Tennessee comes close...

Actually, Bill, we're all just a bunch of college grads, some from Ohio State, who all work real jobs and do this for fun on the side. For fun, something I think you may need to subscribe to. If you can't find the humor in this then I don't really know what to tell you. Also you seem to reference "haters" and here you are, doing just that. Not exactly sure where the "Northwest" comes from, as we don't live in Seattle. As far as Urban goes, if he were to only last one season he'd already be gone... but hey who's counting!

Feel free to add your "$10 words" such as "ruse"... which is more like a Quater Eagle word.
