Star Talk : Chatterbox, Episode 9: Iron Chef-Style

Yes, they have really done it all differently this year. I really liked the challenge last year when they were cooking outdoors in FL (I think) and then they changed their ingredients all around to really confuse them; Debbie denied she had been given capers to use in her dish (she was always doing that), and Melissa had to do without citrus in hers; Jeff (?) had to change his cuisine to Spanish-style to Mediterranean (or vice versa)...that was fun. I think Herb is the best -- Aarti drives me nuts with her "Aarti's Party" saying -- goes down my spine in a bad way! Oh well, I'm sure the judges will do their best to choose the best one for the job -- but hope it is Herb!

Star Talk : Serena vs. ME

I don't think Serena was ever a "snot." She got along with most of the gals, other than Brianna who was a little 'look at me" personality who should have gone earlier than she did.

I guess that is why we all love/like different personalities. I used to like Guy but now I don't care for him at all. DDD is always the same and Guy's personality is just way too strong. If he lost several of his jewelry pieces, it might make him more likable. I like him when he is a guest on someone else's show (was on with Robert Irvine a time or two and was funny)...but alone he is just way over the top for me.

Why? I look forward to Melissa's shows each week. $10.00 dinners is very well done and she has lots of great tips for us "at home" cooks! I have followed more of her recipes that Giada, Bare Foot contessa, Paula, etc. You should try watching and give her a chance!

I like Herb the best but see that he isn't getting much fan support. I hope he ups his game the next couple of episodes so he at least has a chance. I think that he has, by far, the best personality -- Aarti is getting ho-hum, including her "Arti's Party" line! I liked Serena but couldn't understand her most of the time; she best stick to being an attorney. Good luck to all those left and especially to Herb!!!

Breitbart.tv : SEIU Posts AZ Propaganda Video Linking GOP With Fascists

No doubt at all! SEIU is so frightening; I dare say they are almost as bad as the Weather Underground dogs like Bill Ayers and his wife -- all traitors to our USA...(whom Obama claims "he's just a guy on our block..." Yeah right! NOT

This S.E.I.U. Union is so corrupt; how do people truly buy-in to their radical, left-wing beliefs? Guess I just answered my own question: They ARE radical and definitely left-wing. Please, God, save us all. Thanks to Glenn Beck for all the information he is teaching us!

I agree and since I want Herb to win, that is OK by me. LOL I like Aarti but don't think she is star material. Time will tell us. Yes, the time has gone by way too fast; I almost wish they would space the episodes a little farther apart. Go get 'em Herb!

Star Talk : A Love Story or Two (OK, Maybe Three)?

I was so glad Brianna was let go; I was afraid it might be Herb and he's my very favorite! Hope he gets better being in front of the cameras...as none of them are great. Brad had a better episode at the Sinatra home; good to see him relax and get some confidence. Brianna was too stuck on herself and it showed. She might be a good cook but not a good host for TV...

Star Talk : Behind the Scenes: A Hot Tamale, Green Day and Obi-Wan

That's true....and apparently many people do like the way she cooks chicken! I guess it isn't done in the typical way of fried chicken, but if that is the way they do it in some parts of Italy, there are sure to be a ton of people who do like it??? I like Serena; however, her high-pitched, too fast voice does get to me. She was cute this last time when she got finished and then asked, "Did I do it slower?" She was so tickled and jumped up and down...lol

Excellent suggestion!!! I had thought of that also ... seems like they need to be able to show their creativity without the judges telling them what to fix. I think that would be a lot of fun and add some excitement to see what they each come up with...

I wish the show would go on for a longer period of time. It seems like they get it going..quickly have the first few episodes, then it is time for the finale...and "zip" it is over for the season. I think they should just kind of drag it out, or extend it by at least 4 episodes. Just a thought, but it sure does seem to get over early. Any ideas?

Star Talk : Dazzled

I agree. I really have no interest in Indian cuisine but would very much be interested in Cantonese/Chinese/Japanese. Maybe with the new Cooking Channel, they are just trying to mix it up? I thought it was time for DAS to go, although I was starting to like him a bit. I really like Herb and just want to tell him to "buck it up; stay focused and cook your heart out." C'mmon, Herb, you CAN do it!

Star Talk : From Where I Sit: Episode 3

I thought the very same thing. Paul better remember what happened to someone else last season (Eddy & also Teddy) -- when he rolled his eyes and commented continuously that Melissa is "just" a home cook . Seems as though that should be realized before he makes another "no-no" comment. I am enjoying this season, but just not as much as previous year(s). I love the concept and the challenges, so I hope Food Network keeps this going from year to year; perhaps with a few new judges along the way. I like Giada, but sometimes she bugs me because she sometimes has an "holier-than-thou" attitude. I wish I had her teeth, but sometimes it bugs me the way she shows upper and lower levels of her mouth -- anyone think so too??? She is gorgeous but not perfect. Just trying to think of some new comment suggestions. lol

I have to agree, this year isn't living up to the past year's event. I still enjoy it, but feel like they are all trying just a bit too hard, and that prevents them from really being themselves. I know they have to be comfortable in front of a camera, but doesn't that have to be learned, along with other skills??? It seems each of them struggle at one time or another, or are all of them just not 'up for it' this year? Looking forward to Sunday's show.

Star Talk : Still Got That Chill

Jete, I can side with your comments that Herb will be a finalist; however, each week Serena comes on, I am finding her very difficult to listen to. She's obviously a good talent and she is attractive, but I don't know if they will ever get her to "slow it down." I liked her in the very beginning, but now she is losing me with her flighty attitude...I think she is genuine, unlike Brianna, but just too hard to listen to right now. I'm hoping Herb will be the winner this year, unless he starts screwing things up; there is still a lot of time to go.

Exactly. Rob, I say "amen" to your comments, as I feel Brianna is only in this to feed her ego; she just thinks she is "all that" and I think she needs to go...SOON. I like Herb the best so far. He's talented, and he is very personable.
