I LIKE John Boehner. At least we have an ally now and not a spendthrift like Pelosi in a leadership position. I would like to see them cut their salaries and all the extras like Princess Pelosi's private jet. Let them pay their own airfare and fly coach like us peons and they will soon find out that they would be more appreciated. As for earmarks, I think they should be banned altogether and each one should have to be presented as a separate bill in and of itself. They would soon cut expenses if they did that. Barring that happening, we need the line item veto -- not that Obama would use it, but it would be a start in the right direction.
