No! I saw Wendy and Lucy as well and thought it was fantastic. Such a tragic and touching film, plus the dog puts in an excellent performance as Lucy...

Moore get over himself and help in the filming process? The guy's had his work turned into movie-garbage enough times for us to forgive him for not being involved in Watchmen, dontcha think Alfredo?

As someone who likes good movie posters and doesn't like bad ones - I would say that they're both totally rubbish.

Silky lad, what's a stumpy chode? Sounds great! Just for the record, i've never listened to anything by B.I.G., but i'm liking his glasses in the pic above, so I might give him a shot...

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Slumdog Millionaire

So I finally saw Slumdog last night, and thank god I didn't read this review first. Cheers Ed for telling everyone pretty much the whole plot, right down to the final scene! I do agree on the whole though - it was really enjoyable, but it felt like two different films spliced together, and the ending was a bit limp. I'm gonna say 4,4,3 'n all. . .

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Adaptation or Badaptation?

Agreed, anticipation is where it's at - like how much i'm anticipating my dinner tonight. Anyway - i'm not sure I want to see Wes Anderson doing a stop-motion film. He's too good at them normal films, so why go rolling up balls of plasticine and repeatedly moving them "just a tiny amount". . .

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Milk

Woah, Edwardo, you need to chill out son! Penn can act - end of story. Agree with you though about the academy who, btw, if you dislike so much you should NOT go around referring to with a capital A. Does anyone care about the oscars anymore? I saw the list the other day and I just felt so completely numb to it. Why doesn't LWL head out to LA and do their own alternative awards in a tent or summat? I might see go see Milk tonight actually.

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Bourne 4: Good or Bad?

Does no-one agree that the third film was really disappointing? And that it wasn't wrapped up perfectly at all? As Bourne rose out of that water, my heart literally sank. Especially after he'd delivered the line "look at what they take from you" - I was thinking - shit, he's actually gonna die - this is awesome. Not that I revel in death or anything.

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Bourne 4: Good or Bad?

If a) Ultimatum had been any good or b) Bourne had just died at the end instead of super-predictably surviving the fall into the water, then this trilogy would've ended on a supreme high, and we all would have bought the new 6-monthly boxsets and merrily discussed who would win in a fight between Bourne and Jack Bauer until the day we died. As it was, Ultimatum was average - the ending was weak, and now - what a surprise - it's time to cash in and keep making more, until eventually one of them is so horrendously bad that the whole franchise is tarnished. No more Bourne, please.

Little White Lies - Independent Film Magazine : Darren Aronofsky

Fair point - Fincher has skills. It's weird though - something about Zodiac, which was a sturdy film, but underwhelming somehow - has made me stop being excited about a new Fincher film. I didn't even know that Benjamin Button was his until a couple of weeks ago, and when I read it I was, like, hmmm, still not that bothered about seeing this film. With Aronofsky, there's a palpable sense of - what's he gonna do next? And I definitely think Fincher has lost that. Which is sad.
