Hi Nancy, the question isn't what is happening, it is what did happen. Now as Arlen and hopefully others will follow are doing is leaving the Republican party to be with the party they belong to. All moderates and liberals belong with the Democrat party. Anyone who is not in line with the true principles of conservatism belong to the Dem. party. Progressives don't belong in the Rep. Party. So good bye to Arlen and hopefully this can get a few more like Snowe and Collins to go with him!

I would love to see the 912 project a brand. A sort of candidate brand. It a candidate follows the principles and their record shows that they ALWAYS have then they can be 912 approved. Kind of like the EPA only we don't want to ruin businesses! This particular candidate comes out and announces his candidacy and can say I am 912 approved. People will know ok he is for the principles and values that 912 stands for.

I read My Grandfathers Son by Clarence Thomas and several times in the book Biden was quoted as saying one thing and then doing another. He promised Clarence before the first hearing that he would go easy on him and then blasted him when he took the stand. This man has no humility, no character and no shame in what he does. Like most liberals they always say i did it for a good cause or If we didn't do it it would have been worse!

It seems the only time Obama really talks about keeping us safe is when he has to intrude on my rights? Whenever they (hard core liberals, which Obama is) want to pass a law, say gun law or this cyber law it is all about "keeping us safe" yet he does things everyday that actually makes us unsafe. I'm scared for my kids. He released these documents which 4 previous CIA directors said was a mistake. How you anyone be so careless, even in the name of smearing a past President? He is willing to do this to us because they care still not happy! The won and they are still not happy. When are the liberals going to stop? I can't believe what I am witnessing. But, yet I did not vote for Obama for this very reason. I knew he and Pelosi and all the rest were going to take us down this road. It is such a shame. If we do get attacked, which I pray everyday we won't, he will use this info to say we angered the man caused disaster people (@#@$!) and that is why they attacked us again. I will gladly admit to be wrong, something is coming I just don't feel safe. I hope all of you are preparing .

I don't want good relations with Cuba either. When American money is sent over there or any American dollars are spent they pay their people in the worthless paso and then take the American money. It's disgusting how they treat their people and even more disgusting that these people have yet to stand up to their Government and I thank God I live in America where I can. the average worker in Cuba makes $9 a week, 93% of workers work for the state. The Black caucus goes down there and actually is ok with this? Do you think they just don't get it? What they fight for here, equality for all people of all creeds and then they go down there and pretty much justify in-equality. I don't get it. This is why I'm a Christian, Conservative, Then a Republican. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong.

Whenever someone gets taxed whether it be a corporation or another type of company the first thing they do is raise their prices . I'm sure you know how business works.So while it isn't a direct tax , it is going to affect all of us. My family owns a small business, it is going to hurt us. We do a lot of small parts for the coal companies, which by the way fuel 50% of american homes. It all trickles down. Just like discouraging people to buy private jets. That has affected my family business too. Who fixes them? Who sells the parts for them? Who replaces the windshields? Who works at the airports? It all trickles down. We can all judge business owners, but they are the very people hiring us and keeping this country alive. 70% of all jobs are created by small business. Now these small businesses are helping large businesses with replacing their windshields and making small parts for their oil rigs. etc.etc. So please understand it all trickles down to even the small people.
