I have owned two Japanese cars in my life and I will never buy another. They were the two worst cars I have ever owned. I only buy GM cars. GM is back on their own not run by Obama.
I agree with you but it was 40 miles per charge not 40 miles per hour. After the 40 miles the engine starts to become the generator. So as a commuter it's not too bad except for the price. With at least a 20K excess price. This would buy enough gas to power a 30mpg car for 200K miles. The cost exceeds the benefit. Then you have the serious problem with recycling Li-ion batteries. Clean diesels are a better solution, better mileage than almost any gas option without the battery problems.

I have read some interesting views.
To who said we need more parties. With two parties it take a majority to win. With 10 parties we could have a candidate win with 11%. That could be a disaster.
To those who say, vote them all out. They are not all bad; look at their voting records. Every vote is registered on-line. But you can rest assured that 99% of the democrats should be removed. The only bad republicans are the ones that are progressive; which is the opposite of conservative.

I believe that many in the military will not follow; but many will. Remember Kent State, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Florida... There are many places that will resist; mostly the free states. Places like where I current live, California, will be first to fall. I pray that we can rid our government of these tyrants who think they are above the law. I do not look forward to the day I must decide to stand my ground.

All of this is dodging the real issues. First, Obama is incompetent at taking charge of this oil disaster and ensuring that it stops gushing into the ocean and gets cleaned up. Second don't use this as a platform for raising taxes and or prices. Third, do not blame the oil companies, blame the environmentalists who refuse to allow drilling where the oil has easy access, not where it's risky like 7000 feet below the ocean. Refusing to use nuclear power. Hybrids are a joke. The mileage is not worth the price or the problems with recycling the Li-Ion batteries after ten years. How about a miniature nuclear powered steam engine?
What I find interesting is that the father's race is listed as African. That is not a race especially at that time it should have read Negro. Somewhere in the 60's the term changed from Negro to colored. As the years progressed the term kept changing it then became black and then African-American. Obama was born in 1961. So that is way earlier than being called African. That's like calling my race American. In the early 60's there were few choices.
It was either Caucasian, Oriental, Negro, or Polynesian.
