They should have presented him with an unbalanced budget in the final hour like the previous house did to Pawlenty.

There was no avoiding it. This shutdown was a political stunt orchestrated by the DNC. Dayton could have done an extension to avoid a shutdown or had a partial shutdown. They were hoping stupid people and people that pay very little attention would fault the republicans.

Ultimately, the budget didn't change much from the last balanced budget that was presented to Dayton in tie to prevent the shut down.

Why was Osama Bin Laden buried at sea and why does Gadhafi get treated any differently?

"We Came, We Saw, He died"-H. Clinton. If Obama and Clinton are taking credit for this, why are they parading him around town? I thought that was against the Geneva Convention.

And, where are all the anti-war protester?

I am not so sure this is such a good thing. The new government does not seem to be any better than the old.
