Big Journalism : Progressive Media: OWS Storms CPAC And They Blame Breitbart

Everyone should be just as angry as Andrew at these clueless OWS tools who are all about trampling the free speech rights of everyone they disagree with, but act like spoiled children when someone confronts them with their selfish behavior.

Breitbart.tv : 'Glitter Bomb' Thug: Secret Service Apprehend Man At Romney Event

You can see the cloud of blue glitter in the air when Romney jerks back. He needn't have. The tool couldn't glitter him from one foot away. Epic FAIL. His parents must be proud. But the OWS will still give him a gold star for participation.

This glitter bomber is such a tool. You can see the blue cloud of glitter that is thrown weakly and misses from about 1 foot away. He throws like Obama. If it's an OWSer, the group must really be comprised of now grown up kids who were angry they were the last pick in Dodgeball, and proud recipients of many participation star stickers on their foreheads.

Big Government : Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, White House-Style

Does anyone remember the way the people's house was trashed by Clinton's outgoing staff? Can anyone imagine what will be left of the White House when Obama, Michelle Antoinette and his anti-american crew finally depart? Will there be a stick of furniture, or historic antiquities left intact?

Big Government : BREAKING on Fast and Furious: Holder to Appear Before Issa's Committee on Feb. 2

If a special prosecutor is ever assigned to investigate, the MSM will suddenly spring into action to attack the prosecutor, investigate his past, his family, everything possible to discredit him or her. Just as happened during the Clinton administration.

Big Government : Occupy vs. Homeless Shelter (Share the Christmas Wealth) *VIDEO

The difference between the guy working the food bank and the OWS people is staggering. The food bank volunteer is talking the talk and *personally* walking the walk. The OWS crowd is all about telling everyone else what they need to do ( for them ) under the guise of altruism. Excellent video. Please follow up with one where you walk through a Tea Party event and ask for donations. I'm sure the difference would be staggering as well.

Big Government : Can Newt's 'Not Mitt' Momentum Win Him the GOP Nomination?

I find it odd that the MSM seems to be almost promoting a Newt candidacy over Mitt. Why? I think the fear is that Mitt will take Obama down with near certainty, while Newt has enough baggage - I won't quote the Michael Savage resignation offer but he made some good points - that it will be easier to tear him down if he gets the nomination. I had the same feeling when McCain and Romney were vying for the nomination. The MSM subtly promotes one candidate over the other by constantly talking up the polls that support whoever they consider is the weaker pick, while ignoring or bashing the other. Maybe the MSM feels Newt is the lesser of two possible opponents to their chosen one.

Breitbart.com : Tobacco firms sue FDA over new graphic warnings

This is the new standard in a dumbed down America. I'm not pro-tobacco, I'm anti-stupid. Everyone knows smoking is bad for you, leads to lung cancer, etc. But the government thinks somehow it will make the message clearer by using pictures?
Big Government : 'Amazon' Tax: California Budget Gimmickry Fail

Most major online affiliate programs terminated their relationships with California affiliates on the date this law took effect. The tax revenue will not be collected, and as an unintended consequence, state income tax on the revenues affiliates formerly earned will not be collected. Governor Brown took the boneheaded position "lets just tax someone, anyone, and see what happens". What happens is that the state will lose more tax dollars, not gain them. Affiliates who were earning substantial incomes will simply be moving their businesses to business friendly states, ones where they think through decisions like this rather than just signing them into law because masses of entitlement morons will always vote for the guy who promises to "give them more stuff". My move is already in progress. Brown and the libs can kiss my ass on my way out.

Big Government : Out: Birth Certificate. In: Birth Horoscope!

I think what's being missed is that this is not a "copy" of his long form birth certificate, as the White House claims. It's a *computer generated* facsimile - to quote the Hawaii State Department of Health: "The Hawai‘i State Department of Health began computer-generating vital statistics records in 2001. Since then, policy and practice has been to issue and provide only the computer-generated Certifications of Live Birth, and to not produce photocopies of actual records to fulfill requests for certified copies of certificates." Even a digital photo of the document would quell the new crop of question that this apparently digitally created document has stirred up. Better yet, just let a few journalists in to take a look at it and confirm that what is on the actual hard copy original document matches everything on this computer generated version. I just want this issue to go away so we can all focus on the more relevant issues - gas prices, food prices, and the general economy and state of the country.

Big Government : What Happens When You Ask a Bureaucrat About Government Spending?

I went through almost the exact same scenario with a school department in Orange County, California. I first emailed a request through the school system's administrative website and asked how I could go about getting a copy of a prior year's school budget. The current budget was posted online, and I wanted to do a comparison between the increase in administrative spending vs teacher salaries. The email response I recieved was "What do you want it for?" I called in and when I reached that individual on the phone, it was the same routine: "Who are you?", "What do you want it for?", "I don't think that's even available any longer." It was only when I called back and reached a different person in the school district office and said that I was writing an article about how underfunded the schools are in the area that I suddenly got the response I should have from the beginning. Long and short of it is, this is just typical behavior of taxpayer funded entities that automatically go on the defensive when someone steps outside of the lemming pack and tries to peek behind the curtain.
