apparently I could do as good as you...volunteer. doesn't seem as if anybody is knocking your door down to HIRE you as a coach. Your DA comments about taking a Carson team to a state title only proves you know nothing about coaching at all. There are a lot more good and maybe great coaches out there without a title than coaches with one. Winning is actually a small part of the coaches job, which you prove you are not one by your stupid comments. I played for A.L.Brown, coached by Mr. Bob Bozwell, a Division One college coach at one time. He knew what it took to be prepared for a game, and these, while being fine men, coaches at Carson are not fine coaches as which you prove why you were only a volunteer

if the foundation is set in wet cement...then there needs to be a change..we as parents have an obligation to see that our children are given the best opportunity to suceed. At what ever they do...as football players we should make sure they are given the opportunity to be the best they can be...it's not all about winning..but it is all about learning the game and giving them the best teachers of this sport we can. Nothing gets changed by sitting back and getting a grip..while the kids suffer..because you don't think it's adult like to want whats best for them.

Well if the team I watched on that field was well prepared and had an excellent gameplan...please do us here at Carson a favor and do your volunteering somewhere else..very few teams have many players that move on to Division One colleges...that team was not ready to play football friday night...and it was 95% the coaches fault. I was fortunate enough to be coached by one of the finest high school coaches to in this area. And as you say you know the talent of the boys..I can see the talent of these coaches and none of them should be coaching Middle school.

As a huge Carson Fan and an ex-player of the game. I hate nothing more than bashing coaches. But there is a time when you have to decide whether the team is getting any better, whether the young men on the field are progressing in learning and playing the game. This in my opinion, is not happening. I don't feel the young men are prepared for the game or that the staff has prepared a game plan or stradegy to give these young men a chance to win or even give teams a good game. Sometimes when you lose on the scoreboard, you can walk away feeling that "if we only had another quarter to play we could have won". These young men very rarely walk away with this feeling. It is time for a change.

maybe if the parents of these CHILDREN sent them to school dressed RESPECTFULLY enough to be out in public....there would be no need for a dress code

I think all or at least most of us don't care where the heck you or anybody else is from as long as you are here LEGALLY and abiding by the laws that the rest of us have to abide by. A great majority of ILLEGAL ALIENS are of Latino backgrounds. This doesn't make us racist..it just makes us mad that we have to have Uninsured Motorist Insurance and share the roads with unqualified drivers, but the DMV has time to aggravate this fine gentleman with their BS. They have their priorites way out of whack...but this is called job justification. Because getting out from behind there desk and off their sorry butts to actually make the roads safer....well that's just asking too much.

Let's saddle them with whom is driving illegally or not...an 83 yr old man that has obeyed our laws or an illegal alien with no license, no insurance, and panics at the first sight of an officer. ..Her again..my point is..it's easier to sit behind a desk and revoke Mr. Johnstons license than get out here and help solve a much larger and EXTREMELY much more dangerous situation on our streets. They use such antics to justify their jobs...ohhhhh I saved the world by revoking an 83 yr old mans license today, but 10,000 people are out here driving ILLEGALLY...and I'de have to get off my sorry butt to change that....

No Blast here Jan. My point about the Illegal Aliens is not about discrimination of "Mexicans" as you call them. My point is this, someone in an office sitting on their fat butt decided that Mr. Johnston didn't need his license, a hard working AMERICAN that pays AMERICAN taxes is being discriminated against for his age. While we have thousands of ILLEGAL ALIENS driving our streets ILLEGALLY. But.....this would mean that someone would have to get out of all these DMV offices and go out and do something about this problem. NOOOO....they'll just sit there and send letters out to LEGAL drivers with INSURANCE and a perfect driving record. My point being...as usual with DMV and all other government agencies...harrassing Mr. Johnston with letters and threats makes for job justification..rather than dealing with much larger problems..like ILLEGAL ALIENS driving our streets with no license, a fake license, and no insurance.
