Broseph, Why would a respectable, responsible citizen not be capable of making a rational decision themselves? Could it be because the democrats are so use to being dependent on others that they cannot function for themselves. How utterly sad!

That's just it, they didn't want to hear the truth. I know I argued and argued with several bloggers that had it in their minds that it would not affect anyone making under $250000. I gave simple, easy to understand explanations and their response...he said it wouldn't affect us that make under $250K. Those that voted for him: uneducated, dreamers, young and dumb and then of course those that had no clue but that his color matched theirs. The rest of us KNEW what he was saying and how it would affect us.

Buddy how right you are. Example: Hurricanes Katrina & Rita: Katrina=New Orleans, cried and whine...we need help but weren't willing to help themselves expected the government to take care of them; Rita=Cajun Country, never a word, they just got out and helped themselves and each other. THAT is what being an American is about! Not gimme gimme gimme.

'The administration seems to be headstrong on not raising any taxes, so we’re just going to have to fight through it,” said state Sen. John Alario, D-Westwego and a member of the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.

...However, lawmakers said deep cuts are inevitable given the state’s financial position and the governor’s opposition to higher taxes.

Reading that 1st statement this morning hit me like a ton of bricks....is that the democrats' answer to money problems...more taxes? Gov. Jindal is trying to bring Louisiana out of the red with much opposition.

It is time you knocked that chip off your shoulder. Not everyone, and I would guess most, normal folks were not born with silver spoons. My parents lived through the depression. They wanted better for their children and worked hard...but then I have not so fond memories of shucking peas, etc. What my parents instilled in me was to be personally responsible, make wise decisions and not be dependent on others for my welfare. Welfare, food stamps and other programs are to help not be the sole source of income. Too too many people now days believe the government should 'take care of' them and unfortunately that is the message that this new administration is touting.

Republicans, you have a slight typo. Unless you are trying to lump all the republicans into the KKK category. Then if that is the case, you have a tremendous chip on your shoulder, trying to blame others for your inadequacies.

You had to FORCE yourself not to visit Gretawire?! That was a good laugh with my morning coffee. Apparently you enjoy being where you are not wanted. I surely wouldn't visit any site where the cult are frothing at the mouth, praising the political thugs sinking America. Sounds to me like you got what you asked for and aren't happy about your choice but know it's too late, so you try to bring others down to your level.

It is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Don't throw stones when you live in glass houses.

America and nobama is succeeding? By whose standards? Are you uneducated? Are you homeless? Because if you are a working class, tax paying citizens I fail to see how you could say we are succeeding. Massive layoffs, massive bailouts, people in the White House saying 'do what I say not what I do' a man acting as president with all of his community organizing experience, who every time he puts himself in front of the cameras the stock markets tanks. Succeeding? I believe you need to seek a Doctors care immediately.

Thanks, but....I clicked on, clicked off almost made me lose my supper. He thinks he is a star, he thinks he is the chosen one, and that is fine as I hold no respect for these actors that actually believe they are the parts they play [play being the operative word]. What scares me is his followers. Geez.
