Is it me or does it seem like we have an above average amount of bodies that turn up in our area? It's not a huge surprise though when you have a 1/4 of Denver's meth population hanging out in Boulder. As one homeless guy told me, "you hand out money like it's candy, and boy do you feel good about it!"

"That's just not climbing culture" The problem is that climbing as a sport has gone beyond the boundaries of just climbers. These days if you show up to a route, someone is probably already there. Everyone and their mom climbs now. I am not complaining because everyone is out having fun but the true alpine spirit of climbing has been lost to sport climbing and terrain parks, except to those who venture out farther.
