All that would cause is anarchy. Riots, deaths, fires, looting. People couldn't cope. There must be a better way.

You are correct, I was two thousand out. I find it strange though that the 'small mistake' is the one you target when you say that I make some 'colossal blunders'. Why would you not use one of them?

Hmmmm, I'm not so sure. The errors and contradictions say different. Plus, Chronicles is just a rewrite of Kings. I'm hoping that some of this talent might show up in later books, but it's letting itself down dramatically so far. We live in hope. Not faith, just hope. :)

Angry? No, just amazed that people fall for this rubbish and make excuses as you are doing. If you are a supreme deity you have the power to do whatever you want. You can create the people you want in the finished state you wish them, without going through all the mass murder, rape, slavery and torture. There is NO excuse for that is purported to have happened. To believe that this behaviour is allowable for anyone at anytime, even a god, is just plain wrong.

Also, these reasons 'why' he did these things are 99% NOT in the bible and are only made up later by those wishing to excuse God's behaviour so they can keep their jobs and have sheeple following them around. It's a powerplay, pure and simple. Discussing it with believers has never had an effect because they have already drawn a line in the sand about what they are willing to believe. I'm not here to waste their time or mine. This blog is an opinion piece. Take it or leave it.

Am I willing to listen to beleivers? Yes. Am I willing to change my mind? Yes. Am I going to suspend logic, intelligence and commonsense to do so? No. I have an open mind, but not so open as to allow this kind of brainwashing. Thankyou for your comment though.

It doesn't seem so. All I've seen in the whole story of SoloMan is that he could talk about animals and wood and other everyday things. That and that he could amass great wealth at the expense of his subjects. That does not make him a wise or benevolent man. So, after all that, they still have some explaining to do. :)

You're really good at putting words in my mouth, but sadly for you, it's not going to have the effect you're after. If you can't be adult about your comments and have a little respect, you aren't welcome here. There is only so much time I'm willing to give anyone who continues in this manner. As this is your fifth rude comment, I'm not going to approve anymore unless you show a little more maturity.

I'm not trying to tell you anything of the kind. Where do you get this from? Certainly not from anything I wrote.
