KATU - Portland, OR : Man comes home to find tall tree cut down | KATU.com - Portland, Oregon | News

This is happening to me right now only on a much larger scale. I have a rental property on acreage and my renter hired a logging company to harvest $15,000 in timber. The logger and the forest service both took the renters word when he said he had the owners permission. Luckily the forest service sent us a copy of the permit, and we were able to stop the logging after 8 trees had been cut. We are now trying to figure out what to do next.
