iPhone cases and accessories, iPhone applications, reviews, news and hacks. : Verizon Preparing Network for the iPhone

one theory is that Verizon may forgo the iPhone until they get their next-gen network in place. I can't foresee them actually waiting that long though.

It's not like the employees were tasked with reviewing the phone. If anything, Google doesn't want the employees gushing about this thing until everything is final.

iPhone cases and accessories, iPhone applications, reviews, news and hacks. : AT&T to Crack Down On iPhone Data Hogs

To be fair, $30 data plans aren't unlimited for other mobile carriers. AT&T probably won't ever do something consumer-friendly as offer cheaper data plans--but we can probably expect higher data caps, or *truly* unlimited data, at a higher price point.

Perhaps you should actually give it a chance? :P Given that many (myself included) consider it among the best television dramas ever made, there's probably *something* worthwhile about it ;)

I agree it may not make the most sense given what we know from the movies, but as a sort of alternate universe Terminator story I thought it did pretty well.

Branagh is good, but given that the only thing I've seen him in featured a not so great performance, how am I supposed to get excited by this actor? Rewatch the opening scene at some point, he does not exude ANY of the emotions one would expect of a man put in his position.

/Film : Live-Action Blood: The Last Vampire Coming to the U.S. via Sony, New Trailer is a Must Watch

You don't think with the rise of digital effects that a *good* live action anime adaptation could happen? I would argue that Ryuhei Kitamura's Azumi was a pretty successful adaptation (that didn't need to rely on special effects), and Casshern was a good looking adaptation only hampered by a terrible script. I think even Speed Racer could count as a good adaptation that successfully recaptured the campy tone of the original, while still being entertaining. Hell, technically OIdboy was an adaptation of a manga :P

That's not the point I was making at all David. My point was if Microsoft is going to hire directors of this caliber, then they should expect that the content may be a bit more risque than their usual stuff. I'm not calling for Hostel level brutality for every horror film, but hiring these guys to do work under sub-PG-13 conditions seems sort of oblivious.

Good god, did you buy the entire library of HD-DVDs? :P I see your point. I have tons of HD-DVDs as well, the players will still be easy to find for the next few years, and they're still making hybrid Bluray/HD-DVD drives for PCs. I got many HD-DVDs for under $10, not to mention those that I got for free.
