Americans have no idea how insane (or moronic) their govt looks (no matter what party provides a president) to people overseas who get news from non-beltway approved sources. Americans are generally liked by people overseas and they don't really hold us accountable for the govt's actions per say because they realize Americans really have no say in their govt like conditions found in many repressive lands. In fact I think they pity us in some ways.
