I am not going to argue with that. However by attempting to blanket damn the man with as many negatives as you can muster, you are illustrating one of the reasons he won in 2016. Democrats underestimated and sneered at Trump (and his supporters) and he was able to turn that to his advantage.

There are many valid reasons to criticise Trump, but it really is not plausible to include things like intelligence, strategic nous, and instincts among them. Let's face it - he achieved top office in the US against very considerable odds including the continuing media bias which greatly magnifies his failures and ignores his successes, so he is clearly no moron. I suspect that Trump is, in fact, rather adept at using others' underestimation of him to his advantage.
