My problem with Ron Paul supporters has never been their enthusiasm for Paul or their issues. It's the nutters in their midst and their allowing those nutters to operate free of criticism.

Paul has a good base of support for a reason. I want his concerns to be heard at the convention and I hope whoever the nominee is, they feel the pressure to institute some of his fiscal ideas.

Besides, Paul zealots love to tell you how they will not support the GOP nominee no matter what.

I love it. It's completely liberating. No need to kiss their ass because they are telling you up front they're not going to help anyway.

Try listening to Andy Timmons. He's a much better technician than Satriani, but equally gifted at great melodies. I used to work in the business for a major company and one of our engineers came back from the NAMM show saying that people walked away from EVERY booth to see Timmons play (including Vai's). The guy (who was an excellent player) said Timmons was easily the most impressive guy there.

I'd take a half-dozen guitarists before I would even consider Vai. He does think differently, and that's not always a good thing. Sometimes a person is so busy entertaining himself, he forgets that he's supposed to be writing for the audience as well.

Vai is all right, but his remarkable talent never coincided with an ability to write (or play) any relatable material. There are plenty of equally talented players out there who were also able to write material or play in a way that the audience responded to. Vai killed more bands than moronic record label executives.

It depends on what era of Kiss you are talking about. The original four were very limited talent-wise (except for Stanley's vocals). They've gone through some truly great drummers and guitarists in the years after the original incarnation changed. If you tell me that they don't have talent while you had Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr with the band, then I don't see you as having a valuable opinion on music.

Does that mean we all have to take money from White Power groups, call Gaza a "concentration camp," and claim that Islamic terrorists are just victims lashing out? I guess we have to appeal to anti-Semites and conspiracy kooks as well?

Add in the legalizing drugs and prostitution along with killing traditional marriage and we have a Republican party we can finally be proud of! {/sarcasm}

The "rights" of the few? Where in the Constitution does it give you the right to get high? You do realize that drug users and dealers interfere with our rights as well, don't you? I guess your "rights" (you know, the ones not enumerated) are more important than ours (the ones that are enumerated.

Toke up, big guy.

This is the argument I keep making to the Paultards who claim the GOP candidates are EXACTLY the same as Obama. Four more years of Obama and we could have a court that would resemble he 9th Circuit for two decades (or more). Is that really what you people want?

It's so sad when addicts can't get high anymore. I'm sorry we're ruining your good time (and when I say we, I'm referring to the 90% of Americans who don't want to legalize drugs.
