HGTV Dream Home : Super Fan Has A Suggestion

Popped back in to thanks to Gail for the tip. Lessie - about the SPO's I'd rather spectate, thank you for the offer. I wish I could be like Ike. It would be an honor to sit in the shoes of a Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Artist. What is the skinny on the playhouse? Anyone know yet?

HGTV Dream Home : Fired Up? Ready to Win?

A few more thoughts, before I dream well tonight. Kitchen - "Fools admire, but men of sense approve" - Alexander Pope. Great Room - "Pleased to meet you, the weather's nice, wanna sit outside? - In a minute okay?" Back Patio - "Did I really just hear a coyote?" Walk-Through Pantry - "Margaritas? Sure! Our pantry has it all!" Dining Room - "Grab a few hurricane candles from the Recyling Room, and open the French Doors, Let's have dinner like this every night!" I apologize in advance, but I'm elated to see how well the house flows. Great Job HGTV!

Eligibility "rule-out" is the obvious answer, but I bet its more leaning towards the census of who HGTV is reaching, so they can try to target their audience better. At any rate ....Good Question.

The Casita? Sorching Topic? LOL! My first impression is "Can't Touch This". I would be doing the MC Hammer Dance in the Casita! Or.....should I say Ca "see" ta. The glass shower has a border line jet-setter vibe, and I respect that. Furthermore, I wouldn't feel a bit wierd walking around stark in the Casita. Adios!

I've made it through the 30 minute DH2010 journey, still grinning ear2ear, and I'm flabbergasted to say the least! In excitement words, how would I rate this? (A) WOW! (B) NAILED IT! (C) AHH YEAH! (D) BOOOOOOYA! I think - BOOOOOOYA!

HGTV Dream Home : Friday Challenge

Not to stray too fay from the Blog Topic, but get ready to grin-an-bear-it...... "Often Pondered, but Never Mentioned" I wondered why HGTV would place a black stripe right across Gail's eyes in the Vlog picture above. It didn't seem very conscience oriented. Maybe the S-U-P-E-R F-A-N is sporting a new look.........Hmmm, We'll have to wait a find out!

Thank you Marie. Quite impressive reading your Spanish "proverb" about the DH planning approach! You add such a positive vibe in here. Reneelovesgreen - I concur that once seeing the DH furnished, the trim color will become more complimentary of the contents and style.

Ed, I don't know how you do it, but everytime I try to match paint colors with digital color wheels, I miss the mark BIG time. So I went to the Sherwin Williams website, and looked up the color wheel. My guess was "Oceanside SW6496". Hence, you can bet that this is not the color of the trim; however, It looks most correct from my computer screen.

HGTV Dream Home : What Space Will Be Your Favorite?

Diddo Marie. I've had the same misfortune (i.e. my top-five post in the "insane snapshot" weblog got the "Heisman" block); however, I believe the editorial staff is only trying to do their best to ensure fun-time is resonant throughout all discussions. Furthermore, I agree that although my intentions were good, a simple choice of my words had probably been mis-interpreted, hence the "Heisman".

C&E, Thank you for steering me in the right. I'm no master of residential building plans, but Occam's Razor usually prevails in these situations. (I.e. the SRR being on the East should be obvious). My only scapegoat is that there aren't enough pictures.....you know......to help me get oriented.

Great Video Moderating! Gail, you 've definitely hit the mark for "corralling" our interest. Even on the seemingly impossible topics to cover, you somehow manage to rise above the rest. I'll admit..... if I presented a conversation topic about the trim color being dark turquoise.....it probably wouldn't catch; however, I believe Lindsay is correct about the color, and is the challenge winner ! ! [Confetti Falls.....Balloons rise....] My next thought would be, "Can I dig this color or not?" I feel that I could dig it, but if not.......well........anyone who has painted trim, knows how much........uhm....... "fun" it can be, and the onus is on the DH winner if they cannot "swim" with the trim.

Good question Mary! On the contrary I will not be picking the sunrise room, b/c it faces the West. During an awesome sunset, the view from this room would look like photo 3 from your Nov. 5th Weblog titled "Hard to say goodbye". None the less a remarkable feature; however, It moves the Theater Room up to my favorite indoor spot. Albeit, I have no idea what we're in store for, when all the secret goodies of this home are revealed. Maybe the sunrise room will have a hidden door to the conservatory.......LOL! :)

I've pulled away from HGTV's property virgins, just for a minute, because I feel the potential buyer isn't able to harmonize with Sandra Rinomato's vast expertise. Its a bummer for me, but then I remember that the DH is patiently revealing itself..... and the excitment ......Yippie! ....I'm back to 100%! Why I'm flying high in the prose, picturesque & plentiful, I feel a Top 5 Recapitulation of the blatantly obvious, and yet shockingly relevant, Dreamy Aesthetic Features of the "insane" still-life snapshot are in order Eh-hem......[sounds of a snare drum roll]

Well its 5:30 somewhere, so I'll fill my "Blog-a-rita" glass, and I pose a question, which baffles me this afternoon. Maybe its the "Blog-a-rita", but I wondered what type of material the fireplace hearth extention (not sure if this is the name for it) is made from. In other words, is the tan colored thing, which tops the "seat area" in front of the firebox a finished Sandstone slab? [sounds of Blog-a-rita filling up.....] Wait a minute............ Hey Coop, are you the Dos Equis guy....you know... the Most Interesting Man in the World? LOL! J/k! Lessie! Happy to be in your presence again, and I'm fit for the long haul, so I'll need some aspirin if I'm going to indulge in "Blog-a-rita's at noon each day.
All right....Katydid you've opened up a big can of worms. Flamenco guitar is so smooth! Great call! I enjoy Carlos Santana's music, and he's laid down some cool stuff with flamenco guitar. Lately, Dos Equis beer commercials have been playing on this genre Big-time, and no wonder.....the music caputures the mood instantly, with quick tempo, and lightning melodic changes in rythm.

reneelovesgreen, Cool vibe your setting out today! I've noticed several of the loyal HGTV bloggers are still kicking around...you, MM, DBCoop, Lynn, and Katydid to name a few. Hello to all. The excitement has already kicked into overdrive (for me at least), as I've noticed we're located right down the street from Albuquerque!!!! Whooo-Hoooo! Did I hear green chili buritos? I haven't tasted one so great as the last I had in a dowtown Albuquerque cafe. At any rate.....I sure no one will have any trouble finding/researching this awesome regional favorite, because its very abundant. FYI, you can go to MC'ds and order a hamburger with green chili in this part of the state. UH-oh...T.M.I....... Hope that doesn't sling a negative vibe, but its one of the zany facts about the area. Keep it Spicy and keep it Green! Adios Amigos!
