Now if we can just get Cadi away from work long enough to go see it! I'm a big fan of the graphic novels having read them multiple times but it seems that the things you didn't quite like about the movie were things that held true to the comics themselves. From your review it sounds like they did a very good job holding true. The whole supporting characters acting like it was part of their normal lives is written the same way in the GNs, as well as the Ramona and Scott lack of real reasoning for their relationship and emotions. I don't know what the soundtrack is like but I thought it was really cool in the books that when ever the band played they had the guitar parts written right next to the panels so you could play the songs yourself. I wonder if they used the original music from the graphic novels or they created their own for the movie. I am excited to see this masterpiece of both graphic novel and theatrical brilliance! As for Tom Cruise being un-kill-able, Hes a vampire with supernatural powers come on! They try to slit his throat and drain him of his blood. Why would that kill a vampire? I know you've seen the underworld movies. Victor, Amelia, and Marcus all loose their blood when they sleep for centuries and they dont die. They try to start TC on fire but obviously he escapes. Watch Queen of the Damned (not a good movie) but it also explains how he survived through out the centuries. He sleeps like the elders in underworld. I can agree to disagree with your views on this movie but to openly tell people not to waste your time their time I 100% disagree with. That kind of sounds like a Chris Hewitt statement and I know you don't want to be compared to that hack!
