Big Government : GOP Strategist: Republican Establishment Fears Down-Ballot Disaster If Newt Wins Nomination

If Newt sticks to the principles that he laid out in his victory speech Saturday night I believe he would WIN in a landslide. Ann Coulter was just on Mike Gallagher's radio show and apparently she's bought the RINO/Steve Schmidt kool-aid.

Eyes USA wrote: "I like Michelle Bachman for POTUS." Ditto. That's the purpose of all of these "news" items the last week or so, to marginalize her candidacy. I pray the voters surprise everyone. Romney=McCain and Perry is an open borders guy.

As a conservative, nonetheless I like a lot of Simon & Garfunkel songs because, well, they were great songs. As I say about a lot of music of that era, "great music, bad politics." 100% thumbs-up on everything you posted above, not to mention extremely funny!

Big Hollywood : A Biblical Tutorial for Bill Maher

Great response! I too love Answers In Genesis, and they make a very compelling case for everything (and more) that you stated above. The "6,000 year old....." question is simply the beginning of an ad hominem attack. What you posted here is a response to their Religion of Evolution and the millions/billions of years that is necessary for it to even be considered. Much of "modern Christianity" has sold out and compromised the truths of Genesis by trying to harmonized secular evolution and the Scriptures, starting with Thomas Chalmers in 1814 with the "age gap theory," and then later with the "Origin of Species" by Darwin.

Only Christ died to redeem people from their sins. That's what the celebration of his birth is all about. All of the other religions teach that you earn your way to heaven. Christ said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6) Then he proved the truthfulness of that statement by being resurrected 3 days after his crucifixion, seen by his disciples and over 500 at various times around Galilee and Jerusalem. There may be some similarities in teachings per se (i.e, wrong to murder, etc.), but only Christianity teaches that God himself became a man and took upon himself the sins of the world. He proved it over and over again. That makes all other religions false.

"Merry Christmas to all of you fine and decent people of all faiths, or lack of them." - Bill Whittle Christmas is about the birth of CHRIST. It has nothing, zero, nada, to do with other faiths. There's no basis fori it in Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Zorastranism, etc. The above is a milquetoast statement that means absolutely nothing.

My question to that would be, "Who excluded you?" Earlier this week Dennis Prager had a great analogy to a birthday party. Although it may be his birthday and no one else's at the time, it doesn't mean that those in attendance are left out. Exactly! Hey, I feel "hurt" that my opinion wasn't considered during the "health care debate," so why don't we use that as justification to get rid of LeftWing Care?
