RTE Sport : \'I\'m taking over in August 2020\', Kenny confirms

How can Mick get the players to give it their all when they know he only has 15 months left in the job (from his first game to the end of the Euros) ? He's only a caretaker manager - a terrible, terrible dog's dinner of a solution from John Delaney

RTE Sport : Duff: McCarthy leaving after Euros is \'crazy stuff\'

I'm pretty sure Robbie Keane has done a combined UEFA B and UEFA A course with the FAI, so just the Pro License left to do. So he's not completely unqualified.

Because other premier league teams have decent grounds with sizeable capacities, same with the 50k capacity of the Aviva. Are you going to tell a little boy or girl from Kildare or the place that the team that they are playing against are from, that their dream of attending this fight between two bald men over a comb is over because you insist on home advantage being upheld? Those boys and girls are the future of the Association, it's time to let them fulfil their dreams. Sure if one of this pair fluke their way to a final they'll have to play it in a proper stadium anyway.

I can see Kildare's point, but the 8,500 capacity in Newbridge is tiny. If only 8,500 people want to attend the game, the football championship is in trouble. Moving the game to a (neutral) larger venue allows more fans from both counties to attend.

Will Karius be fit enough to play in the replay of the Champions League final ? I presume the game will be replayed after this revelation ?

Great credit goes to young Jimmy Corcoran, the Irish keeper. He showed great maturity and sportsmanship by quickly drawing a line under events on the following day. Hopefully his career goes onwards and upwards after this disappointment.

Five day test matches in Ireland, what could possibly go wrong ?! Good luck to Pakistan trying to bowl Ireland out twice in the two hours of dry weather we are likely to get ! Get your house on the draw.

RTE Sport : Keane happy to play in deeper role - RTÉ Sport

What is the point of a comment like this ? ! There is zero chance of Trap adopting such a fundamental change in tactics at the eleventh hour, AND, we would get absolutely murdered if we start experimenting like that now. This is not Championship Manager !
