We're not associated with any site that sells Miro — we give both the source code and the application away for free. We hate to hear about this kind of thing happening, but we don't have a lot of recourse. You could try reporting them to the BBB if they're a US based organization.

There was an issue with YouTube for a while, so it's quite possible that 2.5 will fix it.

You can get the 2.5 source for Linux (http://participatoryculture.org/nightlies/Miro-20... and it builds pretty easily (on most systems). Otherwise, you'll need to be patient and wait for a binary for your distribution--we have a very small development team and there's only so much we can do at one time.
