I have to disagree on a few: DiCaprio does indeed have brilliance somewhere in him (Gilbert Grape, Titanic), he just may never develop it and we may never see it again. Tom Hanks has made me cry (that makes him an actor in my book) and I wholeheartedly disagree on Private Ryan--that was very well done. Jack Nicholson was brilliant early on and could still be brilliant---he just doesn't care anymore. If a tree emotes really well in the forest but nobody is there to clap with one hand did it happen?

I stopped watching Brian Williams several years ago when he favorably compared Islamic terrorists to George Washington on the Nightly News by way of: "I'm sure many in his day considered George Washington a terrorist." I considered that moment the complete end of my attention to the MSM. Nothing surprises me now. They are simply Party propaganda. Like in the old Soviet system, Party members are everywhere in key positions and one does not advance in their career unless they follow the line. Nothing "official" of course; just like minds working for "Change™". Sounds crazy, paranoid and delusional and yet in this day and time it is true. Before Obama was elected I predicted there would be blood in the streets before it was all over. Now the State Press actually call for a Civil War. May God protect us.

I will always love Sleeper and Bananas. After that...not so much. His life will be judged at it's end but doing something creepy does not go away because you do "Good" later. It just means that you 1)Were a good person who lost his moral compass for a time; 2)Felt guilty and tried to do good things later to make up for previous mistakes. Woody doesn't seem to fit into either slot. I'd be more forgiving if he would recognize that what he did was wrong.....he doesn't get it.

The first person ANYONE from MSNBC should call if they are attacked by an armed criminal is an unarmed security guard. I dropped my subscription to the NYT in 1999 after suffering for years their anti-gun copy.---Every semiautomatic was deemed "a machine gun" and if a criminal was held at gunpoint by a citizen lawfully the copy read: "...was subdued by a bystander." with zero mention of the gun. I finally got fed up when an opinion piece, through unbelievably twisted logic, came to the conclusion that "owning a gun is unAmerican". This is only the tip of the iceberg of Liberal idiocy; I watched an ABC overnight anchor the other night complain that we had to get rid of the Electoral College because it "keeps democracy from working" (paraphrase).
