Big Hollywood : Daily Gut: Bush Says He'd Waterboard Again

I hate this Obama presidency, but I don't miss Bush at all. Sorry but he is responsible for the shit we are in now, in terms of the fiscal situation. History won't be kind to Bush, he will be remembered just like Hoover, the one cracked the door open so that a crazy ass progressive could run in.

Big Hollywood : 'Hannity' to Devote Tonight's Show to Controversial New Film, 'Generation Zero'

It is not a part of the reason we are in debt, but it is not helping either. The fact is this, if you are a conservative, unnecessary wars are a wasted expense, along with all the entitlement programs. All of the waste needs to be cut.

Big Hollywood : Poverty Novelty: Author Behind Oscar-Nominated 'Precious' Has It All Wrong

What are black problems and who is asking whites to solve it? Individuals have problems and it is up to individuals to fix those problems and advance or to ignore them and get further behind. The color of skin is irrelevant in that regard.

I've read the book and I stand by my original assertion. What is positive about a simple black slave who cares more about what his "masters" want than his own freedom and liberty? Uncle Tom isn't a man, he a mangled caricature of what the supposed good negro is supposed to be, an idiot with a mind to only serve his masters, sprinkle in some Christian overtones.

I'm not going to attempt to know the mindset of NYers and where people travel and hangout at. My main point is again, there is no collective black community or mindset. The alter the original posters perception that black love Jesse and Al, I provided a anecdote of my experience living in the south and our local perception of Al Sharpton and Jackson, which in my experience is that the general consensus is that they are two bit crooks.

Big Hollywood : REVIEW: 'Alice in Wonderland' Visually Stunning, Confusing Story

I'm not a huge Depp fan, but the movie recieved a huge marketing blitz and everyone had to have known about it unless the lived under a rock or is just not into big film releases. Either way, Depp's last movie without all the makeup was Public Enemies and it was released last year. I'm finished. :)

How can evidence be used in the wrong context? See this is when the hypocrisy comes out. Now tell me why should no one believe all the Palin ethics stuff and why we should wait until the processes plays out and use all evidence to find out whether she is indeed corrupt or not, but in this situation it is wrong to use all the evidence to determine wether or not the wrong people were indeed locked up. DA's should never be interested in only perserving a conviction, the should really be interested in seeing the right party punished by society, and if a DA will knowingly walk away and fight against any evidence that can provide a clearer detail of events, he isn't worth a damn.

You really don't know what you are talking about. There is no more a black community than there is a white community. In my experience most of my friends and family look at Sharpton and Jackson as 2bit crooks, but that is a southern black man's perspective I would guess.

As a black man there is nothing heroic at all about Uncle Tom, he is very stupid and simple. I really don't understand why you would try to characterize the character in a positive light.

Why are you against the using of DNA evidence to correctly identify if the accused are indeed guilty? The fact is the murder convictions they are protesting has a right to be protested, I don't trust any DA, let alone DA's that want to ignore DNA testing that could definitely conclude the question of whether they have the right people. Stop being so anti-hollywood and open your eyes, like the saying goes, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

I don't know why anyone black men or women would support this lady. She is the same as tyler perry, oprah, and Alice Walker. All they do is put down us black men and make black women seem like they are dumb and have to be saved by liberal lesbian black women or gay black men.

I don't buy the notion that she was doing it for the citizens. If she did nothing wrong, she shouldn't care about the cost of the ethics complaints, if the lawsuits were frivolous there are legal means of compensating her and her lawyer for the waste of time. If she turned down a pay increase kudos, but in the end she quit her job because of the pressure. She ran away instead of facing up to it, and that alone put her on the suspect conservative list with me, the endorsing of McCain confirmed to me that she was a unprincipled typical RINO.

Snubbing McCain would definitely prove her credentials, since her track record in office isn't great seeing that she quit her biggest official position because of stress. How would not supporting McCain make her seem mean-spirited or vindictive.

No it doesn't make sense, because she did have a choice. She could have went with an actual small government supporting Republican or she could have supported a big government loving, freedom hating, interventionist, and anti-free market RINO, at the end of the day she supported the RINO, so all her political credibility is gone. As for GWB, he was always a RINO so supporting Hutchinson doesn't matter. Palin helped John McCain gain conservative credentials, in return, she has to help him win reelection? Don't by that logic or reasoning at all.

She can win with future voters by being LOYAL to the PRINCIPLES she says she values dearly. If she is what she claims she is, she should be supporting Hayworth and it really is as simple as that. How can you claim you are a small government and freedom lover and support McCain? The answer is you can not, so it is either she is loyal to conservative ideals or she is loyal to McCain, in supporting McCain she tells everyone she doesn't give a damn about actual conservative ideals.
