30 Days at a Time : How to Abandon a Sinking Ship

Hi Ben, I know exactly what you're saying. There is nothing harder than diving into the unknown, but taking the route that feels "safe" has resulted in so many failures for me.

30 Days at a Time : What if There Was A Magic Pill?

Hi Ben, It's so easy for us to focus on the outcome and forget about the path we took to get there. It can make us forget why we enjoyed doing what we did in the first place. Thanks for your comment.

And for the record, my fiance knows everything I've been involved in, has had dinner with Neil Strauss (who wrote "The Game") and has met dozens of other guys who have chosen to improve their social skills so they can find fulfilling relationships.

I have removed a comment not because it criticized me (though accusing me of being a cult member is beyond the threshold of what would be considered flaming). I attempted to respond via email, but discovered that the commenter had left an incorrect email address. To anonymous commenter Lindsay - if you would like to discuss this issue further, please email me at david.croushore@gmail.com.

Hi Josh, I'm not sure what system I'm learning. I'm using the book "Breakthrough Rapid Reading" by Peter Kump. I'm still early in the learning process, so I have a lot to learn.

30 Days at a Time : The Paradox of Natural Ability

Hi Hulbert, Isn't it amazing how someone can be so naturally good at something that they cannot even comprehend the difficulty others have with it? I've been on both sides of that exchange - I was the guy who was good at calculus :-P - and it's always frustrating for both parties.

30 Days at a Time : The 10 Domains of Fitness

Hi Dave, This is definitely true. Unfortunately, I don't know how to train a person to recover faster other than to just train in these disciplines. I'd love to hear if you have any thoughts on increasing the body's ability to recover. Also, I'm going to address recovery on Thursday. Stay tuned.

30 Days at a Time : The 10 Domains of Fitness

Hi Steven, thanks for stopping by. There are a lot of exercises you can do at home to build muscle. Depending what kind of things you have lying around, you may be able to find some resistance for workouts, but in general, exercises like squats, pushups, and pullups are great for building muscle. If you're looking for more advanced workouts, try some one-legged squats, burpees, or dips (use 2 chairs and do dips between them). Anything heavy that you have lying around makes a great weight as well. I plan to touch on this subject a lot in the future, though this week my posts are not that specific. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions. david.croushore@gmail.com
