Yes, but the Glazers don't really do or say anything, and they certainly don't appear to conduct their running of the club (since they employ others for that) through the media. This is of a piece with the way they approached the takeover, and, to me at least, it doesn't bode well.

Tony Fernandes has been involved in Lotus F1 - The Relaunch since day 1. The Lotus car company is owned by the Malaysian national car company Proton, but they needed someone from Malaysian industry to run the show. Tony suits that job. While he may or may not be interested or involved with Intermarket, his involvement with Lotus would have no bearing on it. Really it's just more of the same from the press: find a bit of 3 month old "news", add a new aspect (Tony announcing on Twitter that Lotus have decided on team colours (no, not Claret & Blue) ), and spin it as disastrous for your target du jour, ie, us.

Aye, I'm with Roy on that one, Paolo may be a legend (despite some, to me, unacceptable political views), but he's not got the right temperament for club management. Holds a grudge too easily and for far too long (viz Roeder subbing him at Fulham in April 2002), and flies off the handle to easily. I can quite imagine him running onto the field to berate one of his own plays for a miss or giving away a daft free kick. Lovely idea, but no.

Braderz, I believe the speculation was that Tony Fernandes (AirAsia) was one of the members of the Intermarket group. He is a solid west ham fan, but doesn't quite have the spare cash to buy the club outright on his own. (He's also heavily committed at the moment to the new Lotus F1 team, which unveiled its drivers for 2010 yesterday.)
