Good luck, then Todd. As a fellow dad, I wish you all the best with your family and totally agree that your time is better spent with them. You're not going to change much over the internet. You never changed my mind and I never changed yours. Which was a shame, because I was always objectively right and you were always objectively wrong.

Pedophile impulses must not be acted on because that leads to pain and suffering. The victims have not consented to the situation or are not at an age when they can give an informed and mature consent.

Gay adults or adults who wish to practice polygamy should be allowed to marry if they choose. As long as they are adults and each consents to the relationship.

Incest between consenting adults is a difficult one. I don't really believe it exists (What I am suspicious about is the consenting part. I suspect incest is often abusive). But hypothetically if two adults consent to an incestuous relationship it doesn't hurt me or you. The idea is a bit silly even to discuss. There are tens of millions of gay people in the world. Consenting adults wishing to commit incest are so rare as to be non-existent. It's largely a straw man argument.

If it's any encouragement, I enjoy your blog a lot. I don't post anywhere else and I love reading the different points of view- Burll's libertarianism, Craig's Lutheran lefty lunacy and Capricious's refreshing common sense when she posts once in a blue moon.

Thank you for the entertainment and enjoyment your blog provides. I for one, hope it continues. But it's your choice, Todd.

Bob Dole was a war hero, wasn't he? Guys like him and George H.W Bush have a lot of my respect just having lived through so much.

I think he might have a point about Reagan. The Reagan you deify is something of a myth. A complicated man. Nothing like the image you would portray of him.

When it comes to hatred, the line isn't between right and left. It is between decent people and hateful people. In regard to that line, I know where I stand.
