GabeTaviano.com : Walk this way. Talk this way.

I have been struggling w/blogging myself. I think I'm too ADD. I did it pretty consistently for a while but now I feel like there are better ways to spend my time and people can contribute to the conversation w/o blogging via whatever social net they are involved in. I kinda feel like your friend does as well so there are multiple things keeping me from it so I wonder if it's something I am supposed to be doing. We shall see I guess.

That's good stuff Gabe. I'm trying to focus more on engaging and a little less consumption. On the web, it's real easy to just kinda hide out and consume and not engage. Well, you can do that other places to I guess. I have dropped a few subscriptions lately. You do have to draw the line somewhere.

LifeChurch.tv Church Online Blog : Creating Culture (part 3)

One thing I dig about the IC is the opportunity to interact with others while we are worshiping God together. Its a very communal environment and even though I have a great church, I plug into the IC almost every week to see what Brandon and the guys have going on. I am working with my own church to implement similar technologies to help our reach throughout the community and the world. Rock on guys!

Greg Atkinson : Diving in to Social Media

I would agree, I think one of the initial challenges is to come up with tangible benefits to using these tools for people who dont "get it" or maybe to show them what others are doing with these tools.

Greg, love this post. We are walking through 40 days of purpose as a body at my church right now and I think God is leading me to be the "digital disciple" for our body as well as beyond. Just trying to figure out what that "looks like" for us. I think you make some great points and you are definitely talking to me! Hopefully next time you pass through ATL I will have a clearer picture to share.
