I liked Pikmin more than Mario Tennis, but I would have thought Tennis would have been better because of the Wii controls. I was trying to think of how the Wii-Mote works with Pikmin aside from "waggling" when throwing Pikmin. But for the prices ($30 each), can't beat that.

Just as on add-on. And Will, I hate to do this, but Obilivion crashes on the PS3. I have it, there's been several times the game would just "freeze" randomly. Thank God for the "save anywhere" feature but I think that problem is with Bethesda and not with any console. It seemed like the more I progressed, the more chance it froze. Luckily this is the only game that's ever done that.

I remember my Genesis, I loved every game I got but Streets of Rage was the game to bring my friends together. I'm so getting the Sega Collection that's coming out in a week lol.

Assassin's Creed is a great example of this. The game was hyped to the extreme and I was one of those people following it's every progress. I bought it and fully played through to the end but was disappointed at the repetition but I bared it and continued. Now Assassin's Creed 2 is announced, question is, do I redeem the developers (who are changing the game mechanics this time around) or is my opinion already negatively stained? Time will tell.

I completely agree with demo and beta testing. Nothing rivals actual gameplay. It is unfortunate that not all games have demos/betas available...in a perfect world I suppose.

Is game hype worth it is asking, is a game worth your money? We as consumers sometimes create such a buzz for things (not just games) only to be disappointed by end results. I'm simply asking "are you disappointed for any games you purchase that have been hyped up?" Perhaps my question was taken out of context. Lastly, I picked games that gamers could easily identify. Popular examples to relate. Had I picked games that weren't the popular choice of the month, would your statement be different? Thanks for the response though, I appreciate your criticism, hopefully we start a little debate with other viewers =)

Could you imagine, a bunch of dudes sitting around watching the game cheering after the touchdown. Then the game goes off and the guys are pissed until a few seconds they realize what's on the screen, cheering continues.
