I was talking to my 91-year-old mother last month, and she said that today's Democrat party is not the party that she and Daddy supported all their lives. She's voting Republican this fall.

Actually we should be thanking Donald Trump for galvanizing obama into action. The Donald has been making The Zero look like a wimp. Supposedly we've known where Bin Ladin was since last August. I suspect Zero was going to wait to pull this one off just before the 2012 election, but Donald forced Zero's hand, just like he did with the birth certificate. Now Zero will have to come up with another big zinger just before next year's election. Not to mention that this certainly pulls attention away from gas prices, food prices, unemployment, the birth certificate, the epa, etc, etc, etc.

This happened several times when I lived in TN. The difference here is that they caught this illegal POS. I can remember two people on a motorcycle being killed in a head-on collision with some illegal who had a fake license. He took off, and as far as I know, they never caught him. I seem to remember another incident in MN where some drunk illegal plowed into a schoolbus and killed a bunch of kids. This is a big problem, and it's not going away anytime soon if we wait for the feds to deal with it.

I will never forget going to Parris Island in December, 2007, to see my step-son, Chuck, graduate from USMC boot camp. It was an amazing experience. The ceremony was inside because it had rained that morning. The families were sitting and waiting for the graduating Marines to make their entrance. We saw them through the windows as they marched up to the building, and the place just went wild, everyone was screaming and yelling and stomping on the bleachers. Chuck wanted to know later what everyone was yelling about, and we told him, it was for you guys, and he just couldn't believe it. I wish there had been news cameras there. It still brings tears to my eyes to remember it. My dad was in the Marines for eight years before and during WW2. My husband was in the Marines for eight years during the '80's. And now my step-son is a Marine proudly serving his country. God bless you and your son, Mr. Phillips. No matter what direction your son chooses in life, he sounds like an amazing young man, and I know you're proud of him!
