I'm afraid that the cost of post-secondary education is too high, that students in the coming years will have fewer and fewer resources, and that faculty will be stretched thinner and thinner with workloads. Yes, really I am also afraid that my seven years of hard work will lead to no job. I'm excited by the prospect of teaching at a public university and hope that President Obama will invest in them to provide an inexpensive and top quality education for the children of the 21st century.
