I do not see what this post attempts to accomplish. Does it wish to point out that there are uneducated people in the world, even in the bosom of America? Does it wish to poke fun of Americans?

What would you have? A group of people who want to be left alone so that they can enjoy the fruits of their labors within a system that is bent on deceiving and betraying them? Even when before, that system nurtured them and told them that if they held to the same basic laws their lives would be enriched? Sure, they are not the brightest thinkers, but they have been told over and over by their own government that the constitution is the end all be all and final say of the land.

Would you have the media, acting like a modern day Citizen Robespierre, tell them that if they do not “think” what is “right” they shall be herded off to the guillotine? If they do not conform to what the media thinks is enlightened and progressive, they are no better than dirt? It happens daily, despite the fact that the media is a case study in double standards.

Would you have these people, who have paid taxes to, and supported their government for decades suddenly switch midstream and accept Sharia Law? How can you expect that? How can you expect a free people to react any differently when they are cornered and asked to pause that freedom in order to accept laws from another country? How can you expect a people who have worked all their lives to attain some level of “the pursuit of happiness” to cease and then begin accepting some other law that is distasteful to them? They are only people reacting to what they see within the media and the internet. It scares the hell out of them to see what is currently happening in Europe and the Middle East. What should they do? Try to be enlightened and just open their arms to a movement bent on removing their rights…rights that they spilled blood for?

Rednecks…or whatever these supposed Tea Party members are have been told, since birth, that they were guaranteed certain rights under the constitution of the United States of America. They played by the rules, barring some idiots who have broken them from time to time, and have supported the actions of their representatives. Now, it seems popular to point out how dumb these people are—even if those protestors are just a tiny segment of the population. Now, because Robespierre is in charge, anyone who expresses dissident is “dumb” and “racist” and “a person of interest” when the media latches on to the next flavor of the week. But why doesn’t the media show us the vaginal mutilations, the public stoning, and the constant barrage of imams who hate American freedoms and wish to take it away under the laws of fundamentalist Islam? Are those people enlightened?

Is politics just a bait and switch game where the rubes get taken and those in the know get to steal? Is that your idea of what America is? I hope you realize that when you are done making fun of Americans, and when America is an Islamic state, the first people to go will be the progressives and those who wish to have “free thought.”

let me break this down:

1. the dork is wearing converse with a coat and tie. the dork is wearing a button down shirt that is not tucked in. -10 points

2. they are singing "sweet caroline" which leads me to believe they are all in boston. -10 points

3. hipster pal playing guitar for you -10 points

4. asking for her hand in marriage in a mall's food court -30 points

this guy was doomed to failure even before he set foot in the mall. there was no way she was going to accept his offer.

that being said, she is still the worst person on the planet. it used to be common knowledge and commonly decent to accept a marriage proposal when it was done in public, then later on decline the offer privately. only a self centered cow would say no to somebody when there are 50 people gawking. it shows lack of respect and an absence of human kindness. he was done a favor in the end though, he wont be marrying such an emotionally devoid creature who has absolutely no manners whatsoever.
