A third party in principle would be great. We could start from scratch and vote the people in that this country needs. Having said that, the reality is that this is a two party system at this point, and we need to move the people that we want and need into (in my opinion) the Republican party. The RINOs must go, and be replaced by Conservatives who share our values. Going third party at this point would be a disaster for our cause. We are in the early stages of our "awakening" and we need to proceed deliberately. On Sarah Palin....... I like her, but 2012 may be too soon for her.

I totally agree. We need to put in place elected officials that will adhere to the Constitution that has made this the greatest country in history. Moving away from the Constitution is what got us into this mess. My point is that it may be too tempting for some to resist the CC notion, and good intentions could yield disasterous results.

First thing that crossed my mind was that they accomplished plenty of anxiety and negative impact when they started demonizing companies that had conventions and meetings in Vegas. More than enough anxiety to go around.

We have to take in as much information as we can, and use them to put the pieces of the puzzle together. If they don't fit, we try another piece. The idea of a civil war doesn't seem likely partially becausethe two sides of the debate are totally uneven. The progressives are VERY small in number, and they don't have the spirit to do anything of substance. I do believe that the government is salivating at the idea of conservatives stepping over the line so they can take away our freedoms. We don't need violence when we have history and the best interest of America on our side.

And some real "daylight" on where the money came from. Special interests are lining their pockets. Having said that, all special interests are not bad. The NRA for example, uses members' dues where it does the most good for what the member joined in support of. The members are US citizens trying to protect the second amendment. Trial lawers on the other hand, lobby for their own personal fortunes. The difference could not be any more stark. Great idea though MR2. They were not elected to get rich and have a free ride at the expense of the taxpayer and The Constitution.

We are in a situation now that makes it necessary to look past the label. I have both consevative and libertarian views, so I will identify with people who are the same, or come closest to it in an election situation. Of course, there will be issues that are not acceptable and cannot be overlooked. Putting our national security in jeopardy is one of those issues.
