<title>Western Center For Journalism : The Washington Post&#039;s smear of Fox News</title>
<link>http://www.westernjournalism.com/the-washington-posts-smear-of-fox-news/#IDComment63863971</link>
<description>I am surprised that Ruppert Murdoch hasn&amp;#039;t had a few words with the editorial staff at the Washington Compost. He is losing money with that enterprise and the reason is obvious. If the newspapers wanted to become profitable they should follow the Fox News Channel model, objectivity in news and keeping the opinions clearly stated. Unfortunately, ever since Woodward and Bernstein brought the Nixon administration down, it seems that the mainstream media thinks that they should make and break presidents and national policy. If the media, printed and electronic would work objectively, who, where, what, when and how, and keep their opinions on the editorial page, they might increase circulation. If they want to continue to be best used for house breaking a new puppy, they will continue in their present vein. </description>
