Ok, this is funny. I'm not much of a fan of internet churches, but it was still funny!

The Church of No People : Protesting the End of the World

I was really interested, and still am, in seeing the movie, maybe as a Redbox rental or something. I don't mind churches being blown up. Some of them should be to be honest.

david norman blog dot com : Feeling the Weight

David, I'm not sure I feel weighted down before I preach (I don't preach often), but I do feel a huge weight released after I preach. Is it the same situation as you have? I'm not sure, but I think I do understand at least part of what you suggest.

This was painful to watch. They were so serious that it was impossible to laugh at them!

The Church of No People : Speed Dating with Jesus

I tell you the truth...this is a novel and good idea! I would love to do this, as opposed to spending weeks at a time trying to figure out where to go! As a US Navy sailor, I move a lot. A speed dating for churches would be awesome! Make it happen!

Your Daily Word : Sesame\'s Street 40th Anniversary

I've heard so many bad things about Sesame Street while growing up that I'm surprised any Christian is supporting it. However, I am happy you are! I learned much from that show and my kids like it now days. I'm happy to hear that they've made it so long!

trippcrosby.com : A Magnificent Denomination

I'm late to this post, so I doubt if anyone will be concerned with what I think, but the fact is that this is just one more example of how Christians want so badly to idolize someone who is famous. We can't help it! It is so, so sad. I do it too...I'm not judging anyone more than myself. But the fact is, anytime someone says something about God, we think, "Oooh! He might be a Christian!" And then we buy everything by that person. Evanessence anyone?
