I am in no way a horror guy, and I wasn't even planning on seeing this until it came out on DVD, but all of a sudden I had 2 hours to kill, so here I was watching this AWESOME movie. It wasn't gory, it didn't really go for quick cheap shocks, and it was pretty funny. Sam Raimi is fantastic and Evil Dead & Army of Darkness just moved to the top of my queue.

I saw JCVD on Netflix Watch Instantly, and while I dug it, it unfortunately was dubbed, as opposed to subtitled, which bothered me. Interesting movie though.

Trust me Adam, Andy Richter is a buy. I had a couple episodes downloaded and it's amazing. Check out the creator's new show, "Better Off Ted." The pilot was okay, but Byron is on it, so it has promise.

Oh man, thank god they moved Thor. I'm still worried that they set a release date for Iron Man 2 before they got to work on it. When you set release dates this far in advance, you get Spiderman 3. They announced that release date before Spiderman 2 even came out. When you let the director take their time and work at his own pace, you get Dark Knight and Iron Man.

Fox. Fox Fox Fox Fox Fox. When will you learn? It's almost a shame to see such a poorly run studio. I can't think of the last good movie I saw from Fox proper (Searchlight is doing a great job). It's the major record label of movie studios. Rather than change things for the better and realize that times, they are a changin, they figure they can write new rules and consumers will follow, rather than realize that it's the consumer that writes the rules. They need to realize what the consumer wants and go with that. Fools. Arrogant arrogant fools! I'll see them in hell!

Man, I was looking at recent song nominees and the Academy needs to diversify. This year is 2 out of 3 songs from Slumdog, last year was 3 out of 5 from Enchanted and the year before was 3 out of 5 from Dreamgirls. There are more movies that have good songs out there Academy!
