It was a personal thing with them which had nothing to do with anything or anyone else. When we can get to that realization, we begin to heal but it takes time. They always say that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. So true. Mine had lost Dad a year and a half before and the night before she died she called me and told me that it was my turn to take care of everyone else now since I was the oldest. I said "ooooo-kay" not knowing what she meant. The next morning my sis found her on the floor by her bed. She was on lots of medications and so I'm assuming that it was an overdose. My brother was having a terrible time with it and didn't want her autopsied, so I went along with it for his sake. But I'm convinced I know what happened. She was in pain, Dad was gone, we kids weren't enough to keep her here any longer.
