This is exactly why I stopped watching Fringe early on. The old guy would withhold information saying it was too dangerous to tell the detective and his son. Then 20 minutes later he'd tell them. Stupid.

I didn't care much for it. Sam Neill's character is annoying. I couldn't believe the woman detective didn't tell him to GFY at various points. I'm willing to suspend disbelief on the time travel thing - but the idea of this detective tracking down fast moving serial killers while dragging along a 400lb civilian is ludicrous.
