I find the French mountains and countryside beautiful, uncluttered, clean, in fact I can't speak highly enough of it. I find the French people friendly and welcoming. The food and wine as we all know is exemplary. There is culture and it's appreciation in abundance, wonderful cities to visit and pretty beaches and a beautiful coastline. I could eulogise more but I think you'll get my point. Imagine looking out of the window of a Yorkshire care home on a bleak October morning and being inspired to write what Andrew wrote about France. The world's gone mad!
