Spotting a soapbox conveniently nearby, Twilight made to leap onto it when Pinkie hopped into her path from nowhere. “Twilight! You’ll never guess what just happened!” Pinkie squealed in delight. Stars sparkled in her eyes and her mane was nearly twice its usual size. “I already know about the hair problem.” Twilight interrupted, leaping onto the box and setting off a burst of magic to gather everyponies attention. “Listen, everypony!” she started, but a stray clump of her hair floated into her mouth and made her gag. Rarity took the opportunity to dramatically collapse on the box. “It’s a fashion disaster!” she wailed. “No… a fashion apocalypse!” “You have to do something!” Somepony shouted, and they all started pushing forward. “Use your magic to fix this!” “Just clam down!” Twilight said, “I know you’re all upset…” “I’m not upset! I’m so happy!” Pinkie shouted, hoping around Twilight excitedly. Twilight shot out her hoof and stopped Pinkie in her tracks. “Pinkie, not now! I need to focus on this crisis!” “But Twilight!” Pinkie continued, trembling with energy and anticipation. “Rainbow Dash said she wanted to stop by and sample my hot cakes later!
