Stereotypes are what you catergorize ethnicities too. For example African American are good at all sports and Mexicans are hard working. Some stereotypes are true though but not to everyone in that ethnicity. i personally set out to break stereotypes, i do not believe that stereotypes should exist in the world of today. We are bound to follow stereotypes at a young age like mexicans playing soccer. I am a mexican and i do not play soccer i play lacrosse and football. I do things that interest me and i do not worry about what my culture or ethnicity think about it. If i liked to play golf i would play it and not worry about what other mexicans thought about it. In the world of today more people are thinking like me, just following their interests and not going by stereotypes. Stereotypes are bullshit and give that ethnicity a reputation that not all of them have like jews being greedy. I just like to live my life how i want and could care less what people think about it. Im going to live my life like i want and thats all. Stereotypes should not exist these days, it is a new world and people are opening their minds to what other people are into. I would love to meet a person who beliefs in streotypes and tell them the shit im into so they see that not all people from my ethnicity are the same but thats just me. Soccer is in our culture and tons of people play it but there are others who are not bound to their stereotypes and just do what they truly like outside of stereotypes. Stereotypes are going to die in the next couple of years because more and more people are doing what they like. I love the shit im into like longboarding. To this day i have not met another mexican who longboards but i love being one of the first and breaking stereotypes. I contain both the american and mexican culture and i love mixing them. I am me and what i do describes my personalty. Stereotypes are dead and everyone needs to forget about them and give everyone an equal chance no matter what streotypes their people have. There are millions of stereotypes and some are true but it is simply unfair to judge people everyone is their own world and they do what they like. so everyone needs to give each other chances no matter what color they are or what their realigious background is. We are all human lets stick together and be into different things. Diversity is gold and we need to appreciate it today because we need to change the world. we are the future and we can shape it to whatever we want lets make it positive and open minded.
