/Film : Breaking News: Judge Rules That Fox Owns Rights to Watchmen

I understand that fox wants to get paid. It would be foolish not to press this. But if they delay the release, they will have to deal with a torrent of fanboy hatred that has seldom been experienced before. They better be careful.

/Film : New Dollhouse Clip

Why is Whedon wasting his time on this crap? Dushku has never been able to carry a successful project, so why would she be able to now? I personally think she is a mediocre actress at best, and I don't find her the least bit attractive. Whedon can be brilliant, but this project seems to be a roadblock preventing him from creating another Firefly caliber show.

/Film : Iran Condemns The Wrestler?

The Iranian press (which is government controlled) will use anything they can find to condemn the United States. The truth is, though, there is a large population of pro-American Iranian citizens who know better than to believe it. I just wanted to throw that out there before people start bashing the entire Iranian population based on this. I'm sure a bootleg of this movie will be quite popular among certain groups of Iranians.

/Film : The /Filmcast Question of the Week: What Videogame Would Make a Good Movie Adaptation?

On October 23, 2077, the Great War began. It ended two hours later. The destruction in southern California was immense and horrific. The condition of the rest of the world was unknown. Some were lucky enough to secure a spot in government contracted fallout shelters called "Vaults." These vaults are self sufficient, powered by geothermal energy, stocked with hundreds of years of food and supplies, and able to support life with an advanced water filtration system. 94 Years after the Great War took place, the doors of Vault 13 had never been opened. Then the water chip failed. Vault 13 was no longer self sufficient. A man was chosen by the Overseer to venture out into the world in search of a new chip. In the future he will be known as the Vault Dweller, a legend of the sprawling Post-apocalyptic wastes. He stands at the massive vault doors, armed with nothing but an ancient portable computer system called the "Pip-Boy 2000," and a few bottle caps. No one has ever left the vault. No one alive has even seen the outside world, until now. The great vault door groans as it rolls away the rust, and reveals the harsh light of the California sun. Fallout.
