Thier forsight was amazing. Besides, it would be way easier to just take over the republican party and return it to conservatism. There arent any left in that party with any backbone. "In the absence of leadership, men will follow anything" Next: Term limits for all elected officials to break the cycle of power. Max two terms for the House and one for the Senate. Next: Campaign finance reform so that ONLY registered AMERICAN VOTERS can contribute, with limitation so the wealthy do not overthrow the election. Corporations can't vote, Unions can't vote, Special interest groups can't vote, they should not be allowed to contribute in exchange for influence. Next: A flat tax. tax the dollar not the citizen. EVERYONE pays the same percentage, but everyone pays. If you want to be Free, You have to be Equal. If WE are all equal, there are NO Minorities. The plan: Lets completely replace them who are supposed to be representing US. If We The People will band together with the common purpose of completely replacing the U.S. House and 1/3 of the U.S. Senate in a single election, we will take a great first step in getting our country back. This requires common men and women willing to serve to become active with an army of volunteers behind them. It requires the use of the internet to spread the word, using vehicles like Facebook, You tube, e-mail and the like. The mainstream media will fight tooth and nail to stop us from haveing our voices heard, as will the two parties. But we surround them. We are many more than you or I know, and our numbers are growing daily. Glen Beck has started this site for us to congregate and formulate our thoughts into actionable plans. I, for one, will lead or even follow the right choice of leaders, but I will not move out of the way. I dissassociated myself with the Republicans when they failed to lead. But for here: it is completely legal to vote someone out of office. That is the way to completely replace the career politicians. Everyone I talk to agrees that they need to go. I travel quite a bit and cover the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. I speak to folks everywhere. I constantly encourage others to make a difference where they are at. I have seen results in several places. But if We the People are to really get our country back from the politicians, we have to stand up and stand together and throw the bums out. BUT, we need leaders to replace them. This would require a massive grass roots organization like say The 912 project. Once replaced, three simple changes enacted by the new representatives. 1- Campaign finance reform so that ONLY registered American voters can contribute with limitatations so the welthy (George Soros) don't overthrow the election. 2- Term Limits for all elected officials to break the cycle of power. 3-A flat tax, so that all citizens pay the same percentage of income. We all have an equal responsibility for funding the government. If you want to be free, you have to be equal. If we are all equal, there are no minorities.
