I see that left-wing councils are now using the excuse that they are removing statues in the interests of safety.

This must not be allowed to continue.

The Government has to step up and deal with the Marxist mob.

The cultural marxists need to be defeated. If necessary we need to put police guards on all the threatened historical monuments.
If we haven't enough police then we need volunteers for a 24x7 guard.

This must not be allowed to continue.

We now have the ridiculous prospect that in July a 6th former will be able to go down the pub with his mates for a pint but not be able to attend school to study for his A levels.

(Yep, I know, 17 yr olds are not supposed to go to a pub, but this is the real world)

The Government needs to review its approach to Covid-19 statistics.

Professor Karol Sikora has now suggested that the actual deaths may be only half those being reported in official statistics. I find his reasoning to be quite compelling. Why are the Government publishing bad statistics that do not represent reality?

His article is in today's Telegraph.

Good to see John Redwood comments on Con Home. We need more from him here. His blog is always interesting.

He's right about keeping to the Brexit timetable and the basic commitments of "our independence, our fishing grounds, our law making and our borders". The problem is that the pro-EU establishment are now using the Marxist BLM mob as a means of disrupting and destabilising the government and there seems to be some uncertainty about how to react. They have to be resisted. The Government must stand up for our heritage and history. A limp response in the face of mob violence will only encourage more of the same.

The Government has to stay strong and stick to the fundamental commitments of Brexit. There must be no backsliding.

Remember the EU election result of just 13 months ago: just 8% share of the vote. That is what our supporters felt about giving in to the EU !!!
