My point remains that if the majority of us contact our politicians on every one of these outrages each time a fresh one pops up (2 - 3 times a week seems to be the production rate of the administration) we may be able to affect some change, even if it is small due to the fact (at least for now) that they do face re-election periodically. Once they are knighted and hold honors for life, all bets are off...only money and power will talk then. What I seldom see is references to contacting our representatives. I make my feelings known to my Senators and Representative regularly. There are now over 600,000 members of this project. If each of us regularly contacted our representatives in the Federal Obamament and demanded attention, it would be noticed. I'm not saying things would instantly change, but politicians want to get re-elected (why else would Democrats pushing back on anti-gun legislation?) and can be influenced when enough people raise their voices.
