<title>Atheist Revolution : Death and the False Comfort of Faith</title>
<link>http://www.atheistrev.com/2009/04/death-and-false-comfort-of-faith.html#IDComment29417455</link>
<description>Your post was back in April. I wonder. What distance you have gotten from this right now. I&amp;#039;ve recently experienced some loss myself. Tragic loss of a friends child. From the outside it has been difficult to watch the emotional gymnastics these people are putting themselves through. Why could this happen to them? She was such a good girl, they are such good people. I find comfort in a realization I came to when my brother died. Good things &amp;amp; bad things happen to good people. Just like they happen to bad people. That&amp;#039;s life. It is what it is. Everyone dies. No matter if you have an imaginary friend in Jesus or you believe you were thrown into a Volcano &amp;amp; Tom Cruise is gonna save the world. Faith doesn&amp;#039;t make you immortal or bulletproof. </description>
